Education Department Orders Separate Restrooms for Female Staff in Punjab

Punjab’s School Education Department has introduced a special initiative for female workers, directing all subordinate offices to construct separate restrooms for women.

Official instructions have been issued to all affiliated institutions under the department. As per the directive, dedicated restrooms will be established for female employees and visitors across various offices.

These instructions have been sent to educational authorities, the Quaid Academy, and the Punjab Textbook Board, among other entities.

The order also extends to the DPI Secondary and Elementary offices, the Directorate of Monitoring, and the Science Museum, ensuring compliance across all relevant departments.

This step reflects the department’s commitment to providing a more comfortable and inclusive environment for female staff and guests in its facilities.
