Hyundai Sonata N Line Launched in Pakistan With Major Upgrades

Hyundai Nishat Motors has introduced the facelifted 8th-generation Sonata N Line in Pakistan, priced at Rs. 15,890,000 (ex-factory). Unveiled at the Expo Center in Lahore, with deliveries promised within a month for pre-bookings made with a partial payment of Rs. 2,500,000, the Sonata N Line is now available for post-launch bookings at full price.

Sonata N Line’s striking exterior design marries elegance with a sporty edge. Its low-slung, streamlined proportions are enhanced by aggressive styling elements, including LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs) and auto-leveling, along with horizontal LED rear combination lamps that create a distinctive and modern aesthetic.

A glossy black radiator grill, two-tone front and rear bumpers, and 19-inch alloy wheels amplify the vehicle’s sporty appearance. Additional exterior features, such as a panoramic electric roof, twin dual-tip exhausts, and rear reflectors, make it a true masterpiece of automotive design.

The car’s dimensions are —4,910mm in length, 1,860mm in width, and 1,445mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840mm with a ground clearance of 135 mm. Practical additions like mudguards and active noise control provide an optimal driving experience, blending functionality with style.

Interior

The interior is adorned with suede and Nappa leather seats, accented by red stitching that underscores its premium feel. The driver’s seat offers 8-way power adjustments with memory, while the passenger seat features 4-way power adjustments.

Both front seats are ventilated and heated. Rear passengers benefit from the versatility of 60:40 split-folding seats, adding practicality to the sedan’s luxurious interior.

A 12.3-inch curved digital display serves as the focal point for the driver, providing intuitive access to critical information. The 12-speaker Bose audio system, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensures an immersive in-car entertainment experience.

Additional features, such as ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, and a 360° rearview camera, enhance convenience and comfort. The inclusion of a head-up display and trip computer further enriches the driving experience.

Performance

Under the hood, the Sonata N Line is powered by a Smartstream G2.5 T-GDi 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 290 horsepower at 5,800 RPM and 422 Nm of torque at 4,000 RPM. This powerhouse is paired with an 8-speed Wet DCT transmission and paddle shifters.

The car offers Eco, Normal, Sport, My Drive, Smart, and Sport+ driving modes to adapt to varying preferences and conditions. Whether navigating urban streets or tackling winding roads, the Sonata N Line ensures a responsive and exhilarating performance.

Advanced Safety Features

The vehicle is equipped with six airbags (driver, passenger, front-side, and curtain) and advanced braking systems, with ventilated front disc brakes, solid rear discs, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and brake assist (BA).

In addition, Hyundai’s SmartSense suite integrates a 360° camera, blind-spot detection, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, and parking collision avoidance. Other safety features include tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) with individual tire readouts, hill-start assist, rain-sensing wipers, and parking sensors.
