The Punjab Environment Department has initiated recruitment for an Environment Force following the Chief Minister’s directives.
360 positions are being filled, including 80 inspector posts, for which the hiring process has been completed. Appointment letters have been issued to inspectors who met the merit criteria.
Additionally, interviews for 280 field assistant positions are underway, with proper seating arrangements provided for candidates. The recruitment process is set to continue until January 17.
Once appointed, the recruited staff will be assigned active field duties across Punjab.
