Sindh Minister for Energy Syed Nasser Hussain Shah on Monday lauded the talent of special children at a Sports Gala.
Speaking at the event, Minister Shah described the participating children as guests of honor and commended the dedication of their teachers, trainers, and staff. He acknowledged that these individuals could have pursued other opportunities but chose to devote their efforts to supporting special children.
The minister also praised the parents of special children for their hard work and determination in ensuring their children receive education and opportunities. He highlighted the Sindh government’s significant strides in supporting special children and expressed commitment to further improving services.

Addressing the shortage of teachers and trainers in special education centers, Shah emphasized the importance of having individuals who are genuinely motivated and prepared to serve.
He announced plans to establish an 80-acre autism complex in Karachi, designed to offer international-standard facilities for special children. He credited President Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and other officials for their support in this initiative.
On other issues, Shah underscored the importance of prioritizing Sindh’s interests regarding canal water distribution and stressed the need for unity, noting that sensitive matters could create divisions among provinces and the public.
Regarding overbilling and load-shedding, the minister assured that the Energy Department is actively working to address these issues. While acknowledging the ongoing challenges with load-shedding, he affirmed the government’s responsibility to ensure fairness and resolve the concerns of the people.
