The Karachi traffic police have announced a traffic diversion plan for Youm-e-Ali today. The main procession is scheduled to start at 4 PM, beginning from Ghafoor Chamber and concluding at Mehfil Shah Khorasan.
To ensure security, MA Jinnah Road will remain closed between Tibet Centre and Gurumandar Chowk, along with adjacent roads. Commuters traveling via Bahadur Yar Jang Road will need to take alternative routes, including Soldier Bazaar No. 1 Signal, Coast Guard, Anklesaria Hospital Signal, and Sharea Quaideen to reach Naumaish Chowrangi.
Traffic from Society Light Signal will be redirected through Ayesha Aziz Chowrangi to PP Chowrangi or via Khudadad Colony Bridge toward Empress Market. Vehicles from Fresco to Numaish Chowrangi can detour through Eidgah Chowk, Jubilee, and Nishtar Road, or take Regal Chowk via Tibet Centre.
For routes around Fawara Chowk and Garden Nishtar Road, traffic will be redirected via Abdullah Haroon Road, Paradise Signal, and Empress Market. Similarly, vehicles from Garden Baghicha to Aga Khan Third Road can use Gul Plaza and Tibet Chowk.
Drivers are advised to opt for alternative routes, including New MA Jinnah Road, Nishtar Road, and Bahadur Yar Jang Road. For assistance, the Traffic Police Helpline at 1915 is available.
