A 70-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and robbed by two unidentified men in the Dharampura area of Lahore, police reported.
A case has been registered at Mustafabad Police Station. According to the FIR, the victim was traveling in a rickshaw when a man wearing a security guard’s uniform stopped her near Dharampura, claiming to conduct a security check.
The suspect then took her to an isolated area near a railway crossing, where the assault occurred. Another man, described as being around 26 years old, reportedly participated in the crime.
The attackers also robbed the woman of Rs70,000 before fleeing the scene.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects. The incident has raised serious concerns about public safety in the area.
