Renowned Singer Attacks LESCO Team After Getting Caught for Stealing Electricity

Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against renowned singer Jawad Ahmad and four others for allegedly attacking a Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) team, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The FIR, filed by Nawab Town police, states that during a routine inspection, a Lesco team discovered tampering with an electricity meter at a beauty parlor owned by the singer’s wife. Upon being informed, Jawad Ahmad’s wife called him, prompting him and his associates to arrive at the location in a black van.

The report alleges that Jawad Ahmad forcibly took the electricity meter from Lesco staffer Shahid Khan and handed it to his colleague Adeel, who fled the scene with the meter. The group is also accused of assaulting and injuring members of the Lesco team.

The FIR highlights that tampering with the electricity meter caused significant financial losses to the national exchequer and obstructed the Lesco team’s official duties.

The injured Lesco employees were later taken to a local hospital for treatment, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
