Chairman Islamic Council Wants Laptop Scheme and Scholarships for Religious Seminaries’ Students

The chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi, has proposed that schools be included in the scholarship and laptop scheme.

Addressing the annual ceremony at Jamia Naeemia, the Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council emphasized that the Quran and Sunnah’s teachings guide humanity until the Day of Judgment. He stated that students studying in religious schools become scholars who advocate for every Muslim to be concerned about their hereafter.

Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi mentioned that in the concluding sessions, more than 200 students were awarded excellence awards and prizes, and over 70 students were honored with medals. In the current year, Jamia Naeemia has granted degrees to 67 scholars, 10 muftis, 47 Quran reciters, and 50 memorizers of the Quran.

He emphasized that scholars contribute significantly to the eradication of social evils and the empowerment of the younger generation through their teachings. Schools, in terms of their background and services, are an integral part of Islamic society, deserving to be remembered in history and praised for their contributions.

Dr. Raghib Naeemi called for schools to be included in the scholarship and laptop scheme as well.
