A few months ago, the Punjab government announced that free laptops would be distributed to high-achieving students under the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025. Students are eagerly anticipating the latest devices.
As part of the initiative, the government plans to distribute 50,000 latest laptops to meritorious students. Annually, 2,000 laptops will be given, and 2,000 qualification and intermediate qualifications are also eligible for the scheme.
Under the Chief Minister’s Laptop Program, students will receive 13th-generation Core i7 laptops. To encourage research and learning, minority students and top performers in Secondary and higher secondary school examinations will also be awarded laptops.

The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 does not require students to apply online. Instead, educational institutions will compile data on eligible students.
The validated data will be submitted to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab, which will release the final lists of selected students.
Earlier this month, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz confirmed that the first shipment of laptops had arrived in Pakistan.
Ceremonies will be held across multiple locations to distribute laptops under the Honhaar Scholarship Programme.
