Possible GTA 6 Launch Date Briefly Listed At Spanish Online Store

Rockstar has only given us a single trailer for GTA VI so far that only gives a vague release date, but now we have a new leak pointing at a possible release date, complete with month and day, and even a price tag. This leak comes from a recent online store listing in Spanish, which has now been removed.

Possible Release Date

Spanish online store XUruguay briefly listed September 17, 2025, as the release date for GTA 6. This date holds significance as it marks exactly 12 years since GTA V’s launch in 2013, aligning with Rockstar’s previously announced “Fall 2025” release window. However, the platform quickly removed the listing, leaving fans uncertain if it was a genuine leak or merely a placeholder date.

According to gaming news outlet 80 Level, XUruguay claimed to have a connection with PlayStation, further fueling speculation. However, with no official confirmation from Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, it remains unclear whether this date holds any credibility or is merely an estimate.

Could GTA 6 Cost $100?

Another hot topic of discussion is the potential $100 price tag for GTA 6. Industry analyst Matthew Ball, in his “State of Video Gaming in 2025” report, suggested that Take-Two Interactive might set a new precedent by pricing the standard edition of GTA 6 at $100.

His reasoning stems from GTA’s massive popularity and the trend of rising game prices. Over the past few years, major publishers have already increased game prices from $60 to $70 for next-gen titles. However, a jump to $100 seems a bit too much, so take this information with a grain of salt.
