In Muzaffargarh, the first case has been registered against a woman under the Anti-Rape Act.
According to the police, the woman filed a false rape case, which led to legal action against her at City Police Station.
The woman had initially alleged that two individuals had abducted and sexually assaulted her.

Following a court order, the police registered a case against the accused at Civil Lines Police Station, and the woman recorded her statement before the medical officer and the magistrate.
However, she later retracted her statement in court, admitting that she had named the accused based on suspicion.
As a result, the police have now registered a case against the woman under the Anti-Rape Act for lodging a false complaint.
