NADRA Clarifies Rumors About Old B-Forms’ Cancellation

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has clarified rumors regarding the ‘B’ form, confirming that previously issued forms are valid and have not been canceled.

In an official statement on social media, NADRA explained that parents whose children already possess a ‘B’ form and need to apply for a passport, or those between the ages of 10 and 18 applying for the first time, should visit their nearest NADRA center with their child.

Applications can also be submitted through the Pak-ID mobile app. The authority dismissed rumors about earlier ‘B’ forms being canceled and urged the public to rely on official channels for information.

Recently, NADRA introduced an updated version of the ‘B’ form, incorporating advanced security features. This includes mandatory fingerprints and photographs for children above the age of 10.

The changes were implemented in collaboration with the Immigration and Passport (I&P) Directorate, following directives from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
