Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML), a joint venture between Master Group of Industries and Changan Automobile, has achieved another milestone—producing 50,000 vehicles in Pakistan within just five years. The achievement was celebrated at MCML’s manufacturing plant in Port Qasim.
MCML now ranks as the second-fastest new entrant to reach this milestone in Pakistan, ahead of Hyundai, MG, Peugeot, and Haval, and stands as the No.1 Chinese automaker in the country. Its lineup includes the Oshan X7 SUV, Alsvin sedan, Karvaan MPV, and Sherpa pickup, catering to a broad spectrum of consumers.
This milestone reflects MCML’s commitment to automotive technology and value for Pakistani consumers, alongside a network of 27 dealerships across 18 cities, a strong after-sales and spare parts infrastructure, and ongoing localization efforts.
MCML also made history as Pakistan’s first automaker to export locally assembled vehicles, with the Oshan X7 leading the charge. Now, the company is at the forefront of Pakistan’s EV revolution, bringing Changan’s premium electric brand, Deepal, to the market with the SO7 and LO7 models.
Ali Asghar Damani, COO of MCML, stated:
Reaching 50,000 units is a proud moment, underscoring our dedication to world-class mobility. This achievement fuels our ambition to introduce even more advanced automotive technologies to Pakistan.
