The United Arab Emirates has extended its visa-on-arrival policy for Indian passport holders, adding six more countries to the list of eligible visa and residency permit issuers. This expansion will take effect from February 13, 2025.
Previously, the policy applied only to individuals with valid documentation from the United States, European Union member states, and the United Kingdom.
Indian citizens with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada will also qualify for a visa on arrival at all UAE entry points.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) confirmed that travelers must have a passport valid for at least six months and meet the required visa fees per UAE regulations.
This initiative aims to strengthen UAE’s ties with India while making travel more convenient for eligible Indian nationals and their families.
The move is also part of the UAE’s broader strategy to attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors, reinforcing its position as a global financial, tourism, and economic hub.
