Saudi Arabia Announces Over 10,000 Teaching Jobs

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education has announced 10,494 teaching vacancies for the upcoming academic year, aiming to strengthen public education.

The hiring process will be through the Jadarat national employment platform, with applications opening in March.

Application Schedule

Male candidates can apply from March 7 to March 12, while female applicants can submit their applications from March 14 to March 19. The recruitment process aligns with the civil service’s human resources regulations, ensuring transparency and merit-based selection.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

The available positions are classified as “practicing teachers” and cover various subjects essential for schools. Candidates must meet academic qualifications and pass an evaluation process based on:

  • Cumulative GPA (10%)
  •  Graduation seniority (10%)
  • General teaching license exam (30%)
  • Subject-specific teaching license exam (50%)

The names of shortlisted candidates will be announced on March 23, followed by interviews and document verification on April 29. The final selection will be confirmed on July 27.

Training & Professional Development

Selected candidates must complete mandatory training at the National Institute for Educational Professional Development before beginning their roles. The initiative aims to ensure high-quality education by selecting and preparing competent educators for Saudi Arabia’s schools.
