Pak Suzuki has officially stopped taking new bookings for its Wagon R hatchback, marking the end of its availability in the Pakistani market. The company had discontinued the top variant in recent months, and now all variants have been affected.
In a notice sent to dealerships, Pak Suzuki announced the suspension of Wagon R bookings would take effect from March 11, 2025. The company also instructed dealers to inform their sales teams and potential buyers about the decision.
Introduced in Pakistan in 2014, the Wagon R gained popularity, especially among ride-hailing drivers, due to its spacious interior and fuel efficiency. Initially launched in three variants—VX, VXR, and VXL—the base model was later discontinued. In 2020, an AGS variant was introduced with an automatic transmission and additional safety features.
The decision to halt bookings has sparked speculation about a new model. However, a Pak Suzuki representative clarified that there are no immediate plans for a replacement, stating that a new model may arrive in the next two to three years.
With declining sales over time, the Wagon R’s discontinuation marks the end of an era for one of Pakistan’s most recognizable hatchbacks.
