The Foreign Ministry informed the National Assembly (NA) on Wednesday that there is no official ban on visa issuance for Pakistani citizens by the UAE, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a report submitted to the NA, the ministry explained that the Gulf state had imposed certain restrictions on visa issuance for Pakistanis due to various reasons.
The report highlighted that some Pakistani citizens were found to be involved in illegal activities, including possessing fake degrees, diplomas, and job contracts. Additionally, some individuals were engaged in political and criminal activities, while others were caught sharing objectionable content on social media.
It further stated that some Pakistanis had overstayed their visas, leading to additional scrutiny from UAE authorities.
The ministry also noted that the UAE government has introduced visas with a five-year duration.
To address the issue, Pakistan’s embassy in Abu Dhabi has engaged with UAE officials at both ministerial and under-secretary levels. Similarly, senior officials from the Foreign Ministry’s Middle East Division have discussed the matter with the UAE embassy in Islamabad. The report emphasized that Pakistani officials remain in constant contact with their UAE counterparts.

This news has been circulating ever since this issue started (August 2024). However, the main reason for visa rejections is not yet revealed. A lot of Tourist visa’s got rejected. What could be the reason behind these rejections if there haven’t been and VISA BAN? Also, there were rumors of UNOFFICIAL VISA BAN on social media especially TikTok.
