Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s cabinet’s total strength reached 54 after the induction of three more ministers, including Federal Minister Imran Shah and Ministers of State Armaghan Subhani and Dr. Shizra Mansab.
According to the Cabinet Division, the Prime Minister has also assigned portfolios to the three ministers: Federal Minister Imran Shah to the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, State Minister Armaghan Subhani to the Ministry of Planning and Development, and Dr. Shizra Mansab to the Ministry of Climate Change.
Acting President Senator Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani administered the oath of office to the three ministers on Friday.
The government issued formal notifications confirming their appointments immediately after the swearing-in ceremony, expanding the federal cabinet to 54 members. This enlarged cabinet now comprises 31 federal ministers, 11 ministers of state, 4 advisors, and 8 special assistants to the Prime Minister.
