Punjab Police Superintendent of Police Aisha Butt has been selected to receive the 2025 Excellence in Performance Award from the International Association of Women Police (IAWP).
The award will be presented during the 62nd IAWP Annual Training Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, in recognition of her “distinguished service and commitment to policing,” according to a letter from IAWP President Julia Jaeger.
Punjab Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated Butt for “bringing glory to Pakistan on the world stage.”
“This prestigious award is presented annually to a female police officer worldwide for her outstanding contributions to society,” he stated.
The Punjab Police acknowledged her achievement as a “source of pride for all police officers, especially women officers.”
Aisha Butt is currently serving as the City Traffic Officer in Gujranwala.
