Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) has confirmed a fourth significant hydrocarbon discovery at the Spinwam-1 exploratory well, located in the Lockhart Formation of the Waziristan Block, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The find follows earlier successful discoveries in three separate formations—Samanasuk, Kawagarh, and Hangu—in the same well.
According to the company, the Lockhart Formation tests have demonstrated promising flow results.
At a choke size of 64/64″, gas flow was measured at 70.3 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), with a condensate output of 310 barrels per day and a wellhead flowing pressure (WHFP) of 3,264 psig. At a reduced choke size of 32/64″, the gas flow was 29.3 MMSCFD, condensate production was 166 barrels per day, and WHFP increased to 4,993 psig.
| Choke Size | Gas MMSCFD | Condensate bbl/day | Well Head Flowing Pressure (WHFP) psig |
| 64/64″ | 70.3 | 310 | 3,264 |
| 32/64″ | 29.3 | 166 | 4,993 |
Mari Energies holds a 55 percent working interest in the Waziristan Block and operates the well in partnership with Oil and Gas Development Company Limited and Orient Petroleum Inc., which hold 35 percent and 10 percent working interests, respectively.

saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries have vast experience of extracting minirals and oil and gas.
The first priority should be given to our own resources human technical and financial. if we still need more help we can get from these nations of middle east saudi, uae, kiwait amman etc.
As they always stand by us at time of need.
Rekodak should be sole operation if partnership needed it should be with above cited nations only.
