Nothing’s teaser campaign for the CMF Phone 2 Pro has been going for a while, and now, the brand is also ready to introduce the CMF Buds 2. The updated version of last year’s CMF Buds is now available for pre-order from the official Nothing webstore, showcasing a range of improvements aimed at offering an enhanced audio experience.
Design and Sound Quality
The CMF Buds 2 continue with a design similar to the previous model, with a few refinements to bring them in line with Nothing’s signature aesthetic. These new earbuds feature 11mm custom drivers and Dirac Opteo sound tuning, ensuring rich and dynamic audio. Additionally, the Nothing Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 enhances low-frequency output, making them ideal for bass-heavy genres. The buds are available in Light Green, Dark Grey, and Orange colors.
ANC and Audio Features
Nothing has updated the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system in the CMF Buds 2, which now offers up to 48dB of noise reduction. The earbuds utilize a hybrid ANC system that adapts to your environment in real time, adjusting the noise reduction level within a wide 5,200Hz frequency range.
Equipped with six microphones (three on each earbud), the CMF Buds 2 also feature Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and spatial audio support for clearer and more immersive sound quality.
Build Quality and Battery Life
The CMF Buds 2 come with an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, making them durable enough for exercise and outdoor activities. The charging case, on the other hand, has an IPX2 rating, protecting against water splashes. The device offers 13.5 hours of playback on a single charge and a total of 55 hours with the charging case, ensuring plenty of power for extended sessions.
The CMF Buds 2 are priced at $59.
