In response to the recent hailstorm that damaged numerous vehicles in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Changan Pakistan has announced a 50% discount on labour charges for repairs of affected Changan and Deepal vehicles.
Vehicle owners can visit their nearest authorised dealership to claim the offer, which remains valid until April 20, 2025. The company said this special service campaign is aimed at helping customers get back on the road without added financial burden.
It stated, “We’re not just here for the drive; we’re here when it matters,” as part of its message of support to customers.
This comes soon after Haval Pakistan stepped forward with its own repair discount offer, providing up to 40% off for vehicles damaged in the same hailstorm. That announcement was welcomed by customers on social media and appears to have set a trend for other carmakers.

I’ve been through it in 2018 with my new Suzuki Ciaz back then. Took my car to various workshops, denters in Islamabad and Lahore. Some said the whole car will be repainted, others claiming they’ll fix most of the dents except which are on the car pillars. Repainted car would lower its value 50% or more even though it is not accidented.
Eventually I gave the car back to insurance company claiming for a new one but that didn’t happen though I suppose it was comprehensive insurance.
