Pakistan’s largest charitable organisation, the Edhi Foundation, has added a new light aircraft to its air ambulance fleet, further strengthening its emergency medical response capabilities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
With the addition of this aircraft, the Edhi air ambulance service now operates a total of three aircraft.
This expansion is part of the foundation’s efforts to improve rapid medical transportation, especially during emergencies and natural disasters.
The newly acquired aircraft will be utilised to transfer patients to hospitals and deliver aid in disaster-affected regions across the country.
