The Board of Directors of Clover Pakistan Limited (PSX: CLOV) has granted the company the green light to explore a potential investment or acquisition in the oil marketing sector, according to a statement issued following a board meeting held on April 21, 2025.
During the meeting at the company’s registered office, the management presented a possible opportunity to invest in or acquire an Oil Marketing Company (OMC). The Board authorized the company to assess the viability and feasibility of such a move.
In addition to exploring the investment, Clover Pakistan has also been permitted to evaluate potential funding sources and appoint necessary advisors, valuators, and consultants for conducting due diligence and assessing the business case. The company will also work on structuring the transaction and preparing relevant documents for formal Board consideration.
