Punjab Increases Registration Fee for Matric

The education boards in Punjab have announced a revised registration fee structure for students of classes 9 and 10, applicable for the academic sessions from 2025 to 2027.

According to the updated schedule, the total registration fee has been raised to Rs. 2,910, up from the previous amount.

The revised fee includes the following components:

  • Rs. 1,100 – Registration Fee
  • Rs. 630 – Processing Fee
  • Rs. 300 – Board Development Fund
  • Rs. 180 – Scholarship Fee
  • Rs. 200 – Sports Fee

In addition to the board charges, schools will also collect Rs. 500 as their own fee. Furthermore, students may be charged an extra Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 by schools for other services. The new fee structure applies to both government and private institutions.

The registration process for the 2025 academic year will begin on May 29, 2025, without any late fee. However, students who register between May 30 and June 13 will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 600.

Only students who are 11 years and 2 months old or older by August 1, 2025, will be eligible to register. While the registration will be carried out online, schools must also submit a hard copy of the registration documents to the relevant board office.

Additionally, students are required to provide their B-Forms during the registration process.
