Xiaomi has launched the A27Qi, a new 27-inch 2K monitor that brings a good-looking screen and essential features at a competitive price. Part of the brand’s expanding monitor lineup, the A27Qi is making its way around the global markets, and we hope to see it in Pakistan as well.
Display Panel and Screen Specs
The Xiaomi A27Qi features a 27-inch IPS panel with a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), offering a 100Hz refresh rate, 250 nits brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The display supports 178-degree viewing angles and delivers impressive color accuracy with DeltaE<2, 100% sRGB, and 95% DCI-P3 coverage.
Thanks to its 8-bit panel, users can enjoy 16.7 million colors, making it suitable for content creation, media consumption, and productivity tasks.
Eye Comfort and Build
For prolonged use, the monitor includes TÜV-certified blue light reduction and DC dimming to reduce flicker. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI, and a headphone jack, although there’s no USB hub. The stand supports basic tilt adjustments, and VESA mounting is available for those who prefer custom setups.
The Xiaomi A27Qi monitor is priced at $171 in the international market, meaning it would cost more than Rs. 50,000, if it does comes to Pakistan.
4K Model and Gaming Models
Xiaomi is also preparing to release the A27Ui, a 4K version of this monitor series. While exact specs and pricing are yet to be announced, it’s expected to feature a higher-resolution display with similar styling.
In related news, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27Q in China, a high-performance Mini LED QHD gaming monitor with a 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms GTG response, VESA DisplayHDR 1000, and 99% Adobe RGB/DCI-P3 color coverage.
