The Punjab government has announced plans to construct a Transport Tower in Lahore, with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directing the Transport Department to prepare a feasibility study.
The proposed tower aims to centralize all provincial transport-related departments into a single location. Provincial Transport Minister Bilal Akbar Khan has been assigned to oversee the project.
According to the minister, the location and design of the tower have not been finalized yet. The Transport Department is currently working on identifying a suitable site and developing architectural plans. Once this preliminary work is completed, the proposal will be submitted to the Chief Minister for further consideration.
