Islamabad Hospitals Put on High Alert as Tensions Soar

Amid rising security concerns, major hospitals in the capital, such as the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Polyclinic, and other medical facilities, have been put on high alert. To ensure full emergency preparedness, all staff leave has been revoked.

In a related safety measure, authorities have temporarily suspended the Metro Bus Service between Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The suspension will remain in effect until Thursday as part of heightened efforts to safeguard public spaces.
