Punjab Public Service Commission Postpones Exams

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has postponed all written examinations scheduled from May 10 to May 12 due to the prevailing security situation following heightened tensions between Pakistan and India.

The decision was taken as a precautionary measure in light of the ongoing regional unrest. Affected exams include those for several key positions across multiple departments, such as the Canal Patwari post in the Irrigation Department and Assistant Director roles in the Lahore Development Authority and the Labor and Human Resources Department.

According to the original timetable, over 92,000 candidates were expected to appear in the tests during this period. PPSC has stated that the revised schedule will be announced at a later date.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the PPSC website and official announcements for updates on the new exam dates.
