India launched a military drone attack on Pakistan last night, marking yet another act of aggression between the two nations.
According to Pakistan’s military spokesperson, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif, India deployed Harop drones at multiple locations across Pakistan. However, Pakistan’s armed forces were able to neutralize 12 of these drones.
In a televised address, Lt Gen Sharif confirmed that one of the drones targeted a military site in Lahore, causing injuries to four Pakistani military personnel and inflicting some damage. Additionally, a civilian was tragically killed in Miano as a result of the drone strike.
The Pakistani military responded promptly, shooting down drones in several areas, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bhawalpur, Miano, and Chhor.
