Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) has discovered gas at Soho-1 exploratory well drilled in the Sujawal Block, Sujawal District, in Sindh Province.
The company said in this in a stock filing at the main bourse on Friday.
The testing of the Lower Goru (Massive Sand) Formation at Soho-1 has shown the following parameters:

Further testing of the additional targeted formations is underway to fully evaluate the well’s potential.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the first gas discovery in the Lower Goru (Massive Sand) in the Sujawal Block and has opened a new avenue for exploration in the Massive Sands after several failures in the region, the filing added.
Mari Energies is the operator of Sujawal Block having a 100 percent working interest.
