Pakistan to Start Exporting Mangoes in Last Week of May

The government has announced that mango exports for the 2025 season will begin on May 25, following consultations with the stakeholders committee.

The Ministry of Commerce has issued a circular confirming the start date and clarified that existing conditions under the Export Policy Order will continue to apply.

Pakistan exports around 130,000 metric tons of mangoes per year. It earned somewhere over $90 million in foreign exchange last year by selling to other countries.

The country’s mangoes are shipped to a wide range of international markets, including the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Iran, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
