The Youth Empowerment Forum (YEF) 2025 has officially launched its call for applications, inviting passionate young individuals from across the globe to participate in an immersive leadership experience in Geneva, Switzerland, from September 4 to 7, 2025.
Organized by the Center for Global Dialogue and Leadership (CGDL), the forum aligns with the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and the United Nations’ Youth2030 Strategy, focusing on youth engagement, cross-border collaboration, and sustainable development.
Who Can Apply?
The forum welcomes applications from individuals aged 16 to 46 from all nationalities. It is open to:
- Students and recent graduates
- Young professionals
- NGO and civil society members
- Journalists, researchers, and think tank affiliates
- Anyone passionate about sustainable development and global change
No prior experience or language certification (such as IELTS) is required. Both emerging leaders and experienced changemakers are encouraged to apply.
Selection & Eligibility Criteria
Applicants will be selected based on:
- Demonstrated interest in youth empowerment and leadership
- Strong communication and motivation
- Engagement with international relations, public policy, or sustainable development
- A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and impact
Funding Categories and Participation Options
Out of a total of 150 seats, the following categories are available:
- 40 Fully Funded (competitive selection)
- 30 Partially Funded
- 30 Forum Admission (Guaranteed Entry)
- 50 Self-Funded (Guaranteed Entry)
Fully Funded delegates will receive:
- Round-trip flight
- Official Schengen visa support letter
- Accommodation and meals
- Access to all sessions
- Study visit to UN HQ and CERN
- Local public transport (Geneva Card)
- Premium training kit and event merchandise
- Speaking opportunity and Leadership Certificate

- Self-Funded Package: $999
- Visa Support Letter Only: $120 (upgradeable to other packages)
