5000+ Pakistani Beggars Kicked Out of Different Countries

A total of 5,402 Pakistani nationals involved in begging have been deported from various countries during 2024 and the first five months of 2025, according to a report submitted by the Ministry of Interior to the National Assembly.

The report, as covered by 24NewsHD TV, revealed that these deportations came from six countries: Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Oman.

In 2024 alone, 4,850 individuals were repatriated, with the vast majority — 4,498 — coming from Saudi Arabia. Iraq followed with 242 deportations, while Malaysia and the UAE reported 55 and 49 expulsions, respectively.

For the current year (up to May 2025), 552 Pakistanis have been deported so far. Of these, 535 were sent back from Saudi Arabia, nine from the UAE, and five from Iraq.

The findings highlight a growing concern over the involvement of Pakistani nationals in begging abroad, prompting calls for stricter monitoring and preventive measures by authorities.
