In a bid to enhance medical services and promote academic excellence, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced that all upcoming appointments of doctors at Capital Hospital will be based strictly on merit.
The announcement was made by CDA Chairman and Islamabad Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the closing ceremony of the Second Obesity and Robotic Surgery Week held on Tuesday.
Chairman Randhawa underscored the importance of transparent and merit-driven recruitment in ensuring quality healthcare delivery. “This milestone is not only a source of pride for CDA but also a crucial step toward providing top-tier patient care,” he stated.
The decision aligns with broader efforts to raise the standards of medical practice and ensure that skilled professionals are at the forefront of public healthcare in the capital.
