Pakistan’s upcoming home series against Bangladesh has undergone a major change, with the tour now trimmed to just three T20 Internationals, all to be played in Lahore. Fans are immensely disappointed after it was reported that Faisalabad will not be hosting an international match after months of anticipation and build-up.
The series, which was initially planned as a five-match contest has been cut down to three matches and is now set to take place entirely at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Here is the revised schedule after the latest update:
Pakistan vs Bangladesh LIKELY T20I Series Schedule:
| Match | Date | Venue |
| 1st T20I | June 1 | Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore |
| 2nd T20I | June 3 | Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore |
| 3rd T20I | June 5 | Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore |
The matches will serve as crucial preparation for both sides as they look ahead to the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 cycle and aim to assess their squad depth before a packed international season.
In a related development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to continue its recent policy of giving opportunities to emerging players. Reports indicate that star players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi are unlikely to feature in the squad for the Bangladesh series, as selectors focus on building bench strength.
