As part of its ongoing crackdown on environmental violations, the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) Rawalpindi has seized approximately 4,000 kilograms of banned plastic bags from a warehouse. The confiscated bags were found to be below the legally permitted thickness of 75 microns, making them non-compliant with environmental regulations.
The operation took place on Railway Workshop Road in the Dhoke Mangtal area. Following the raid, the EPA handed over the seized plastic material to the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation for proper disposal.
EPA officials stated that the action aligns with the Punjab government’s strict zero-tolerance policy on environmental pollution. Authorities have been instructed to continue taking firm action against individuals and businesses contributing to environmental degradation.

The manufacturing company should be seized and fine, not the seller. Main source is to be dismantled. like it is said NIP THE EVIL IN THE BUD.
