Following the launch of the Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain earlier this year, Ghandhara Industries is preparing to introduce a new variant of the pickup—the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Auto Plus 1.9L Blue Power—in the Pakistani market. According to industry sources, the launch is expected in the coming weeks.
The upcoming D-Max V-Cross Auto Plus is equipped with the 1.9L RZ4E Blue Power diesel engine, producing 150 PS (148 hp) and 350 Nm of torque. The engine features a VGS turbocharger and intercooler, optimized for better fuel efficiency and reliability. It meets Euro-2 emission standards.
Power is delivered through a 6-speed automatic sequential transmission (AWR6B45-II). The vehicle includes a rack and pinion hydraulic steering system with tilt and telescopic adjustments, and is supported by a HI-RIDE suspension setup—independent double wishbone with coil springs at the front and semi-elliptical leaf springs at the rear. Braking is managed by ventilated front discs and rear drum brakes, with ABS, EBD, and brake assist included.
