The Pakistan Airports Authority has announced an extension of the airspace restrictions on Indian aircraft, which will now remain in effect until 4:59 AM on June 24, 2025.

According to the official statement, the restriction applies to all aircraft registered in India or operated, owned, or leased by Indian entities. This includes commercial as well as military aircraft.

“No Indian airline or aircraft operator will be permitted to use Pakistan’s airspace during the ban period,” the statement clarified.

The extension reinforces ongoing limitations initially placed amid heightened diplomatic and regional tensions, further suspending any Indian air traffic through Pakistan’s controlled airspace.
