Police in Khushab district, Punjab, have registered a case over the theft of four cold drink bottles valued at Rs. 500 from a shop in the Islampura Eidgah neighborhood.
According to officials, the shopkeeper reported the theft by calling the police emergency helpline. In response, police filed a case against an unknown suspect and assigned an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) to investigate and locate the thief.
Authorities noted that similar cases have been registered in the district before, including thefts involving shoes worth Rs. 1,000 and watermelons valued at Rs. 3,000.
Punjab Police emphasized that all crimes, regardless of value, are taken seriously and that action will be taken to apprehend those responsible.
