Powerful windstorms and hailstorm swept through Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas on Tuesday evening, uprooting trees, damaging vehicles, and disrupting power supply across multiple localities.
The sudden change in weather caused widespread inconvenience, with reports of intermittent electricity outages in several sectors of the capital and nearby regions.
This follows similar weather events over the weekend, when windstorms and dust storms struck across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in 14 fatalities and dozens of injuries in various weather-related incidents, including roof collapses, wall falls, and accidents caused by poor visibility.
