How Sana Yousaf’s Killer Entered Her Home — Shocking Details Emerge

New details have surfaced about the murder of popular TikToker Sana Yousaf, who was killed in her Islamabad home on June 2.

According to investigators, Sana’s killer, Omar Hayat, had been in contact with her for several days before the incident. The two first planned to meet on May 29, Sana’s 17th birthday, but after repeated delays and a disagreement, the meeting was called off. The two later reconciled and agreed to meet again on June 2.

On the day of the murder, Omar traveled from Faisalabad to Islamabad, arriving early in the morning. He waited near Sana’s residence for hours, repeatedly calling her. Sana, who was asleep for much of the morning, eventually responded but continued to delay the meeting. By 4:30 pm, she refused to meet him, telling her parents she was staying home.

Omar, familiar with the layout of Sana’s house, waited for an opportunity to enter. When a tenant living on the ground floor left and the door swung open in the wind, Omar seized the chance. He entered the house, went upstairs to Sana’s room, and confronted her.

Sana, startled by his sudden appearance, asked him to leave, warning that there were cameras and her family would return soon. Omar became agitated. As Sana tried to calm him, offering him water, he pulled out a pistol and shot her twice in the chest. Sana was critically injured and later died from her wounds.

Police arrested Omar Hayat within 20 hours of the murder after tracking his movements through CCTV footage and call records. The murder weapon and Sana’s phone were recovered from his possession. Authorities say Omar has confessed to the crime, and a strong case is being prepared to ensure he faces the full extent of the law.
