A 17-year-old TikTok star with over four million followers was shot dead inside her home in G-13 sector, Islamabad on Monday night, sending shockwaves through the country’s social media community. The victim has been identified as Sana Yousaf, a popular content creator originally from Chitral.
According to police, an unidentified guest entered Sana’s residence and opened fire at close range before fleeing the scene. She was struck twice and died instantly. Her body was transported to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination.
Authorities in Islamabad have launched a full investigation but have yet to identify or apprehend a suspect. Police are considering several possible motives, including personal disputes, online harassment, or an honor-related crime, though nothing has been confirmed.
