Pakistan to Give 3,000 Scholarships to Afghan Students

Ahead of the federal budget announcement on June 10, Pakistan has proposed Rs. 7.35 billion under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for 3,000 Allama Iqbal scholarships for Afghan students.

The initiative, first approved in the 2017 ECNEC meeting, is a testament to Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional educational development.

The PSDP outlines strategic priorities across various sectors, with this allocation highlighting Pakistan’s focus on fostering bilateral ties and regional stability through education.
