The government has approved a special relief allowance for officers and soldiers (JCOs) of the armed forces in recognition of their steadfast service in safeguarding the country’s borders.
According to the Budget Speech Document available with ProPakistani, the allowance is a gesture of appreciation for the armed forces’ unwavering commitment and commendable performance in the face of mounting security challenges.
The government acknowledges that the dedication and sacrifices of military personnel have been instrumental in maintaining national security and stability.
The special relief allowance will be funded through the defense budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.
Officials emphasize that this measure is designed not only to reward the armed forces for their service but also to boost morale as the country navigates a turbulent security landscape.
