Will the Government Increase Passport Fees Next Fiscal Year?

The government is unlikely to revise passport fees in the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26, according to the local office of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports.

Officials said that since passport fees were increased last year, there is no proposal under consideration for another hike in the new federal budget. This update brings relief to applicants amid growing concerns over rising costs of public services.

Here are the existing passport fees for different categories.
