The Lahore High Court has decided to withdraw official vehicles from officers in grades 20 and 21, replacing the provision with a new monetization policy. Following approval from the Chief Justice and other judges, a formal notification has been issued to implement the policy.
According to the notification, instead of being provided with government vehicles, officers will now receive a fixed monthly allowance. Grade 20 officers will be granted Rs. 65,960 per month, while Grade 21 officers will receive a monthly allowance of Rs. 77,430.
The notification further states that the decision regarding the fixed allowance for Grade 19 officers will be made after further consultations.

good decision hope so implement bhi ho jaye
Suo moto action by the Lahore High Court is highly appreciated
This is very good decision to fix monthly car allowance instead of providing car to individual officer,it will reduce substantially the govt expenses and must be enforced on all grades.
As with other government offices, BS 20 and 21 officers will get monetization allowance and they will still use official vehicles under any other garb ……double mazay
Top bureaucracy knows how to go around the orders. They will enjoy both.
This was tried long ago one one can stop right from DG onward all grades are keeping at least 6 vehicles with fuel & driver at home from own department and other department in their control I think this step is like living in fools paradise who can touch the untouchables
Surely this can’t work. Now the said officers will enjoy both privileges, vehicle and monetization at the same time.
For those thinking its about beaurocrats(due to their jealousy) its not its about High Court staff as judges can only decide about the court staff under their jurisdiction like Lahore high Court means in Punjab
Baat paisey ki hy. Jab allowance lag jaey ga phir gari wapis
Allah kry iss pe ummel ho
Batien to sb krty hein
Now they will enjoy both
