The annual matriculation results for all educational boards in Punjab will be announced simultaneously on July 24, 2025.
According to sources cited by a private news channel, this date was finalized during a meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) held on June 14.
The delay in the release of results has been attributed to the incomplete marking of papers, which has impacted the timely processing of results across the boards. Educational authorities are working to resolve the issue, ensuring the results are made available by the announced date.
In a separate development, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi canceled the HSSC Part-I History of Islam exam after students raised concerns about the inclusion of out-of-syllabus questions.
Several students reported that the questions were not in line with their prescribed syllabus, which prompted immediate action. The examiners informed the board, and BISE quickly decided to cancel the paper to safeguard the students’ academic interests.
The rescheduled paper will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the first group at the same centers and under the same roll numbers.
