The Punjab Education Department has issued a statement regarding the ongoing summer camps in schools, providing clarity for parents and students.
According to the announcement, participation in summer camps is entirely voluntary, and no school can compel parents to send their children or pay any related fees.
The department emphasized that while summer camps are being organized, they are not mandatory. Parents have the choice to decide whether they want their children to attend.
If parents opt out, no school is allowed to force them to pay the camp fees or send their children during the summer period.
Furthermore, the department has set a specific timeframe for these camps, which will run from June 16 to July 15, 2025. Schools have been instructed to adhere to these dates and ensure that no additional fees or obligations are placed on parents outside of the summer camp duration.
