Murree, one of Pakistan’s most popular tourist destinations, is facing a serious water crisis. Residents say they are now forced to bring water from distant areas to meet their daily needs, as natural springs in the region have dried up for the first time in living memory.
“This is unprecedented — we have never seen these springs dry before,” said one resident, expressing concern over the worsening situation.
The alarming shortage has left many questioning the sustainability of tourism and local infrastructure in the region.
